Please help!!!! should my research be considered quantitative or qualitative? urgent please?

I'm conducting a quasi experimental research using the observation method to collect data in order to compare the control and treatment group. i got frequencies and percentages for 40 different items included within for unequal categories. many say it is quantitative and others say it should be qualitative. please any help please I'm suffering for a couple of months up to now,

Please help!!!! should my research be considered quantitative or qualitative? urgent please?
Qualitative research

a process of inquiry with the goal of understanding a social or human problem

from multiple perspectives; conducted in a natural setting with a goal of building

a complex and holistic picture of the phenomenon of interest

quantitative research

an inquiry into an identified problem, based on testing a theory composed of

variables, measured with numbers, and analyzed using statistical techniques; the

goal is to determine whether the predictive generalizations of a theory hold true

Quasi Experimental Studies

share almost all the features of experimental designs except that they involve non- randomized assignment of subjects to experimental conditions
Reply:I think it is quantitative and qualitative because when u compare 2 groups using t-test that is inferential statistics, but when it comes to observation and writing report descriptively, that is qualitative.
Reply:reacherge for me about the aztecs calender
Reply:You are working with data. You have frequencies and percentages. This is definatly quantitative, as well as it should be for this type of research.
Reply:cos quantity leads to quality through averaging
Reply:i would say a little bit of both but put qualtive for shure
Reply:if it's numbers it's quantitative. if observation in words, qualitative
Reply:It depends on the measurement is of the data. If it is a set type of data then it is quanitative. If is is subjective or opinion based data then it is qualitative data.
Reply:quantitative
