hi can any one let me know , when doing your researcg methodlogy do you have to write down the weaknesses of carrying out research using a certain method ?





or do you just write down the advantages

Yes, both needs to be down there although i think it's not suppose to be included in research methodology





Again you have to ask you lecturer/tutor because i have had to do things differently depending on who's marking the paper. Always clarify with them first.
Reply:righty...make a list of all the disadvantages of the other methods compared to the one you have chosen and then write down why you chose your method over those ones.





eg..i chose snowball samppling because it allowed me to gather information quickly whereas if i had used strata sampling it would have been more time consuming.

INTRO: Definition of terms and brief intro onto topic


PART 1: Explanation of method


PART 2: An example of a subject which would use the type of research method eg psychologists tend to use the experiment


PART 3: An example of a study which used the research method in question


PART 4: Strengths of method


PART 5: Weaknesses of method


CONCLUSION: Briefly sum up what you have said in the main body of the paper

Reply:U have to give full details about yr topic including history, working principles ,merits and demerits. atlast u have to give some solutions to solve those demerits.Write about the future enhancements also.
