I got a used 96 Gr. Cherokee limited. It didn't have any remotes so I got a couple on ebay. I've done some research and I've tried the methods several times with no results. I've done the leave door open, move switch to lock position, put key to start position, hold lock button on remote. Nothing happens. I'm sure I have the right remotes. I even have new batteries. There just isn't a lot of info on programming these things. Some instructions mention LED and receiver, which isn't the case for this radio transmitter. HELP please!
How do I program a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee remote FOB?
I had mine reprogrammed at the local lock shop but the dealership does them also.
